How to Buy Crypto with Credit/Debit Card (EUR&USD)? – Help Center

Credit/Debit Cards represent a secure method of purchasing crypto, especially via Visa and Mastercard.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to buy crypto with credit/debit card:

Register or make sure you are logged into your Phemex account.
On the header menu, hover over ‘Buy Crypto’ and click ‘Credit/Debit Card’.

NOTE: *Completion of KYC Identity Verification is mandatory for purchases via Credit/Debit Card

1. Here you can choose to buy crypto with different fiat currencies. Enter the fiat amount you want to spend and the system will automatically display the amount of crypto you can receive.

Notes:

Only USDT purchase is supported.
Your Card name must be consistent with your KYC Identity name on Phemex.
There is a transaction limit for Credit/Debit Card Payment. Min. amount per transaction is $100, Max. amount per transaction is $5,000、and Daily Cumulative transaction amount < $10,000.
Debit cards are 35% more likely to succeed.
Some banks might charge a Cash Advance Fee on your credit card.
Transaction fees: EEA Countries 0.08% Non-EEA Countries 2.8%

2. If you have not already bound a card, then for security purposes you need to make a 1USDT purchase to first bind the card. Click “Confirm”.

3. Enter your credit/debit card details. Please note that you can only pay with credit/debit cards that are under your name. Therefore, the cardholder name must be consistent with your KYC Identity Verification name on Phemex. Click “Pay”.

Note: You may be prompted to enter a 3D Secure code to verify the payment.

4. After payment is completed, 1USDT will have been deposited to your spot wallet and the card binding will be successful.

5. After binding the card, you can buy crypto with it. Go back to the Buy Crypto home page, enter the amount you want to spend or receive, Click “Buy”.

6. Confirm the order. You can choose to pay with any card you have bound or add a new card. Then click “Confirm”.

Note: If you choose to add a new card to buy crypto, you’ll need to first make a 1 USDT purchase transaction with it. You can bind up to three cards.

7. Enter your credit/debit card details and complete payment. The crypto amount will be deposited to your spot wallet. Click on View Assets to check your balance.
